Azerbaijan was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Day After Day", composed by Govhar Hasanzadeh, with lyrics by Zahra Badalbeyli, and performed by Elnur and Samir. The Azerbaijani participating broadcaster, İctimai Televiziya (İTV), selected its representative through Land of Fire 2008.
